Since 2013, this newly-constructed building is home to Palafrugell’s Pineda Gèlia Tourist Office, which, from 1984, had been located in the same avenue, but in the area of the Sauleda neighbourhood.

Besides helping visitors, citizens and businesses with various enquiries, the municipality’s tourism-promotion projects are managed in this space.

 

CENTRE OF INTERPRETATION FOR GASTRONOMY

In the same building, we also find the Centre of Interpretation for Catalan Gastronomy, which was created to provide information about the historical evolution of gastronomy and tourism in the Empordà region, by means of two audiovisual pieces. Touch panels offer information about gastronomical campaigns, recipes and markets, as well as the main products of Catalonia, along with explanations.

It has the same opening times as the Tourist Office.
