On 23 April you’ll find the town centre packed full with stands for books and flowers. You can stroll, look, read, smell the roses… You can choose the books you want and the roses you want to give. Books, the symbol of culture. Red roses, the symbol of love for your sweetheart.
We also celebrate this day with a continuous reading of the work by Josep Pla in the Municipal Theatre. Anyone who wants can participate!
This day, 23 April, is dedicated to Saint George, the official patron saint of Catalonia and the most cultural and civic holiday that takes place in the region.
