From the Carles Sentis overlook, we can enjoy the view of the beach of Canadell and Canyissos, or as the Palafrugell's natives call it, the Guitar

Carles Sentis overlook (in Tres Pins)

 

When arriving to the end of the motorway, don’t go right or left, rather go straight through Torre promenade until reaching the La Torre hotel. The path right next to it will lead you to the overlook under the Trens Pins where there is a sculpture honouring the journalist and writer Carles Sentís. Here you can take in a view of the beaches of Canadell and Canyissos.

Carles Sentís fell in love with Calella and spent a great deal of time there. The sculpture at the overlook was made by his grandson and it is a single piece of Corten steel on a series of open books in reference to his grandfather’s works, one hundred centimetres high to pay homage to each year his grandfather lived.
