The daily and weekly market

Who would have known that when the market in Palafrugell began in 1600 that it would become one of the county’s best-known markets in the 21st century.

The town offers the daily market open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and also the weekly Sunday market open 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In the summer, from the end of July to the middle of August, the daily market is also open on Mondays.

Palafrugell is well known as one of the most active towns on Sunday mornings. The weekly market last all year long on Pi i Margall street, and also extends to some neighbouring streets. In addition to food products, you can find textiles, shoes, toys, music, electronics, and many more objects. The vast majority of the town’s markets are open on Sunday until 1:30 p.m. filling the town with a lively atmosphere.
