Spring Festival

Possibly the festival with the longest standing tradition in Palafrugell

Spring Festival

By changing the dates to evade the dictatorship, this festival has been a fixture in the town since 1962.

These are days of excess, joy, music, dancing, activities for kids and adults, revelry and more. The Costa Brava Carousel – Carnaval de Carnavals closes it out with an exclamation point. It takes place on Easter Sunday at 5 p.m. and people from all around come to Palafrugell to enjoy this parade of floats and processions starring the people of Palafrugell and nearby towns.

Palafrugell is home to music, contests, traditional activities such as the fanguejada or children’s fair, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, floats and processions marching through the streets!
