Palafrugell has a well-rooted tradition in high-quality markets

The Market in Palafrugell

 

Palafrugell has a long-standing commercial tradition and the town is well known for its markets.

We can find the daily farmers market with fruits, vegetables, meat and fish open every day from Tuesday to Saturday. The weekly market takes place on Sunday and the evening artisanal market is held in summer in Palafrugell.

The town offers the daily market opened from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and also the weekly Sunday market opened from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

From mid-July to the end of August, the market is also open on Mondays

Palafrugell is well known as one of the most active towns on Sunday mornings. The weekly market lasts all year long on Pi i Margall street, and also extends to some neighbouring streets. In addition to food products, you can find textiles, shoes, toys, music, electronics, and many more objects. The vast majority of the town’s markets are open on Sunday until 1:30 p.m. filling the town with a lively atmosphere.
