La Garoinada

Garoinada, sea urchins

La Garoinada is one of the best-known and most traditional gastronomic meetings of the regions of Girona

La Garoinada is one of the best-known and most traditional gastronomic meetings of the regions of Girona, starting in 1992 with its main product, sea urchins.

This festivity is held in the middle of the winter towards the end of January until March, when the sea is tranquil and the sea urchin is at its best.

This campaign is supported by different restaurants in Palafrugell, which offer a menu including sea urchins as a starter, a second course (different for every edition) and typical desserts of Palafrugell cuisine.

From January 19th to March 24th 2024
