Coris julis is the name given to this hermaphrodite fish so singular to our coastline, which in Palafrugell we call julivia.
The male is green and blue with red lines and a black trace at the base of its back, the female is brown with orange tones and when she changes sex she turns an intermediate colour. It is these colours that we have decided to use to liven up the tourist bus which we will call JULIVIA (guiula, juliola, donzella or senyoreta are other names with which this fish is known in other places of Catalonia).
